Brothers and co-owners, Chris and Alex Griffin of the Subway restaurant in Monroe City are doing their part to make sure no stomach goes unfed during this Coronavirus pandemic. From their initial post to Facebook to help feed two kids, two quickly turned to over 700 in a matter of weeks. Despite the fact that they are donating meals to those in need, they are taking none of the credit. Chris Griffin says that, “This is all because of the community. We have been getting a little recognition that we don’t deserve or anything like that and it's just all the community.”  Though this pandemic is forcing us to keep our distance, this tight-knit community is closer than it's ever been.
